Our cattery is young, we have been operating for 4 years. However, it was not created out of chance but a deep passion for this breed- a very unusual breed of cats.
Being , in the past dog keepers and breeders, partly by choice, partly by necessity (due to the nature of the work and long day absence from home). We eventually met and entered a relationship with our first Devon- Rex cat- Mr. Lorenz.
Like many new Devon owners, we fell in love, and perhaps more correctly, we reciprocated the undying love, curiosity, sometimes nosiness. Some of the many human qualities of these beings. Because they are not cats, they are feline creatures …
Having the characteristics of small, curious children – looking into every shopping bag. As well as other pets such as dogs – welcoming you at the door at any time of the day or night … waging their tails and demanding a big hug and kiss (Are they really cats?).
Even though Devons are cats, their qualities and characteristics are a mix of other animals such as dogs and monkeys.
Of course, everything begins in a nursery, kindergarten, that is. Growing up among us, living next to people and with people they develop
love and good manners.
Our kennel is tiny and that’s why our kittens are very open and sociable. They grow up in a playpen, in a bed, on the table and on the floor under human’s feet, on the kitchen countertop. Don’t worry they will assist you with morning coffee (did you know that they prefer to drink water from the tap or from your glass?). Always on our laps and strangely on a laptop keyboard.
Smart, brave, open to learning (they retrieve balls and other objects ! They love walks on a leash too).
But most of all they are open to caresses and they are wonderful companions in your life from the very beginning of their existence.
Forget about the myth of the “absent” cat, somewhere “there”, hidden under the bed … the Devon Rex will be with you, painfully, next to you and on top of you. He loves to be on your shoulders, even your head. Anything higher and together with a loved one.
Their presence will give you long moments of wonderful purring, which has so many wonderful health benefits such as soothing a headache as well as keeping you calm during anxious moments in your life.
Our rexes are part of our days and maybe they will become part of yours?

A good life is the basis of good health. We focus on nature! Our cats have a balanced diet.
In combination with prime cat food – ZiWi peak, Orijen, we also started to use BARF diet, (around 50% of the whole diet). Our kittens also are treated with shrimp, which they love ( some more, some less, as they have different characters and flavours just like humans do). We hope that future owners of our little ones will take care of their diet for their long and healthy life.
